Caddo River Race 4-27-13

Arrowhead Cabin and Canoe is hosting a race on Saturday, April 27th at 1:00PM for anyone interested.
Cost for entry is $25/kayak and $40/canoe.
1st place will receive 70% of the cash purse while 2nd place will receive the remaining 30%.

I just camped at their location on the Caddo River at the intersection of Highway 8 and 240 near Caddo Gap. The new owners are currently building a large new bathroom/office area as well as reconstructing rv pad sites. They have primitive sites right on the river that provide a nice camping area. I think the place will be very nice once contruction is complete. I am not associated in any way with the owners, but just wanted to provide information for anyone interested.
