Jasper area camping?

Might be in that area some for Spring break. Wondering if the Buffalo gets really crowded or if it is a bit early/cool for most of the family floaters? Also, any off the beaten path tent camping areas around there if crowds would be an issue?
Thanks

Sam's Throne is a nice out if the way place to camp.
Horseshoe Canyon is another option.

Thanks Brian!
Had already talked with Horseshoe since we are planning to climb there some too. They said that it is normally very crowded during Spring break.
Might look into Sam's though. Never been there but could see it while climbing at Valley of be Blind.

Ozark campground on the river, off 7, is not bad, even when busy. Jasper and Ozark Cafe are just minutes away.

I second the suggestion for the Ozark Campground. It has lots of space, and very handy off Hwy 7. Jim, if you can get there to stake your claim on Friday morning, or fairly early in the day, Ozark should be a chinch. I just love this campground because it 's pretty handy to Ponca, and Kyles, and so easy to access! Staying at Ozark also puts you within minutes of all the fine restaurants in Jasper. Good luck, and have a nice time!!
Best Regards
Jim

We will be in Steel Creek tomorrow through mid next week. If If you need a shuttle look for a black ford with canoe trailer and we will be glad to help out. Last year we stayed at Kyles through spring break and it got pretty crowded. Erbie is out of the way but I have never saw it full during SB. Hope to do Ponca to Kyles on Friday and will definately be out Saturday. Good thing about the Buffalo no matter where you stay you cant go wrong.

1. No camping at Erbie:

2. Only tourists eat at Ozark Cafe.

Ozark Cafe is good stuff, tourist or not. Better than the gas station!
Where do you suggest? The "new" bakery place is closing. The Boardwalk cafe was a bit pricey and small on serving size though we haven't eaten there in a couple of years. Is Point of View open anymore? The place in Low Gap isn't open a lot of the time though I've heard good things about it.
What do you suggest for something open late on weekends?

Last year when the wife and i rode the bike through low gap the place there was great. Friendly people, good prices, and good food.
