Leave a post if you were there so I can figure out who everyone is....and maybe what boat you were in :D This was my first trip with the GoPro and I'm diggin' it! Oh, and there are a couple of good reasons on the vid why to not surf in front of a root wad.

Great job with camera and paddling, except for the root wad move. I especially enjoyed the shots of the boulders, which are my favorite feature on any river. Thanks for sharing and great edit. John.

Nice first video. I was the guy in the blue boat. No, the red one. No, yellow. OK, I wasn't there. I don't own a kayak. But I did enjoy your video, more so that it was your first effort with a gopro. I always enjoy going along with paddlers, even if it is just from my living room. I hope to see some more in the near future.

Ok, the video made it look like I shoved that kid over and made him swim. Not really, but that's what I felt like when it happened. I felt terrible but he did such a good job staying calm, listening and cooperating to get to shore. I hope my kids will want to go paddling. I was the one in the red diesel and red paddle.

Na, you guys just ended up in a bad spot at the same time..only you had the rock to hold onto :poke2: I couldn't manage to hold onto the root ball...that spot was against my better judgement anyway but my ignorance led the way 8)

Hey Seth,

School and working at Mercy means less paddling time for me, but I hope we can get out sometime this spring.

Mike - I'm not exactly sure but we put in on the little Mullberry and took out at a low water bridge.

Grant - were you in the open boat?

Dan - Let me know what your schedule is

Nice video Seth!

Good surfing abounds on the Mulberry... for sure. Just watch out for root balls and strainers.

And proof that a still of a boof is likely to be bigger than the video of the boof.

But damn, there's a good boof at Jump Start!

Hope to catch you soon Seth, for sure.

Here's to 2013.

Fun Video! Thanks for sharing.

That rootball was scary. Glad it didn't consume anyone!

I made a couple of cameo appearances ;) at 4:15 trying to wave wheel and surfing at 7:09

We got out on the Mulberry yesterday Milton to Campbell's and the surfing there was probably as good or better than the upstream section including Whoop N Holler.

GN YAKN were you the one doing the "old fart wheels". That was the first time I had heard of that move.
