I am on edge waiting this thing out, the forest around here cannot take another massive hit or there won't be any trees left. Let's hope we get lucky and dodge this potential tree armagedon.

Sounding like most ice is headed south according to last weather report I heard. I hope ice is minimal too, I guess we'll find out!

Well, Nate. It looks like the earlier prediction was more accurate. I know for Washington County we missed almost all the ice, or at least the freezing rain that happened was not that damaging becuase it was melted by rain!!!
How did you turn out over there in Searcy County? Hollohead, How'd you turn out over there by Osage?

We got some ice and snow but wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be!

By the end of the event we got about a 1/2" of ice. Could have been much worse, but for some reason the ice did'nt stick in the trees the first night. Hopefully it melts all at once so we get a shot in the river.
