Who we are: Nationally accredited summer camp located right outside of Hardy, AR in need of high adventure directors and guides for our 2013 summer camp season beginning the last week of May and running through the second week in July.

Who you should be: A recreational whitewater kayaker OR a recreational long boater. We are posting for four different positions...

1) Whitewater kayaking director: Someone who is an experienced whitewater kayaker. 21 y.o. or older. Will be instructing participants in the proper procedure and safety of beginner whitewater kayaking. Will be running one to five kayaking trips throughout the week, depending on registration. Pay is between $250-$350/wk with up to $100 bonuses per week depending on performance.

2) Whitewater kayaking guide: Someone who is an intermediately experienced whitewater kayaker. 18 y.o. or older. Will be aiding whitewater kayaking director in instructing participants in the proper procedure and safety of beginner whitewater kayaking. Will also be aiding an additional high adventure group running a climbing, caving, mountain biking, backpacking trek over the course of one week with whitewater kayaking falling towards the end of the week. Pay is between $150-$250/wk and is negotiable based on age and experience.

3) Lake kayaking trek director: Someone who is an experienced long boater (preferably comfortable with 15ft sea kayaks). 21 y.o. or older. Will be instructing participants in proper procedure and safety of beginner kayaking. Will be leading a week long trek to Lake Ouachita with a group of 3-15 participants and one additional guide. The trek consists of island hopping, overnight camping, snorkeling, fishing, and basic instruction in Leave No Trace principles. Pay is between $250-$350/wk with up to $100 bonuses per week depending on performance.

4) Lake kayaking trek guide: Someone who is at least a beginner kayaker. 18 y.o. or older. Will be aiding trek director in instructing participants in proper procedure and safety of beginner kayaking. Will be joining trek director on week long trek to Lake Ouachita with a group of 3-15 participants. The trek consists of island hopping, overnight camping, snorkeling, fishing, and basic instruction in Leave No Trace principles. Pay is between $150-$250/wk and is negotiable based on age and experience.
