Cossatot Thursday 1-31-13

Post by Farmbus » Wed Jan 30, 2013 7:32 pm

Anyone planning to go? I will be heading down there if I know someone else will be there to paddle with and help shuttle.
I will be coming from Fort Smith.

Hey Ken, I may be up for it. Have to check some scheduling details first. I'll text later.

A few of us plan to get there about noon...PROBABLY (I'm recovering still from a bit of a cold, so if I feel super yucky in the morning I may bail, although Mitch and Bob would probably still go). I'll confirm if we're headed that way in the morning.

Byron and I will be meeting at the visitor center at 10:30 if anyone wants to throw in with us at that time. I have room for another if someone needs a ride.

I'm shooting for arriving at the falls at noon. Should be a ton of fun. Dibs on the lost gopro, if we find it!

Thanks to a heavy dose of cough medicine, I finally got a good night's sleep, and so we are rolling!

We're going to meet at 10:30 at OOO in Hot Springs to consolidate cars and then head on to the falls, ETA noonish.

Heather could hardly stay awake on the way home. That cough medicine didn't stop the cough but it sure helps you sleep. Great group fun day and congratulation to Clay on a stylish first decent. Great job Clay. Doug hope the video turns out and is posted. BOB

That was a beautiful day on the river, even though I think my body thought we should have been home sick curled up on the couch. I had fun even if it was hard to tell through my hacking cough. I came home and slept nearly 12 hours, which is NOT NORMAL, so I guess maybe I was asking my body to be a little more active than it wanted to be!

Oh well...relaxing day today back at work and I'll be recovered enough to hit some falling water levels somewhere on Saturday!

Clay definitely styled his first decent!
