Come on out for our annual new member fiesta. Food will be provided by the chapter.
It is a great time to come out and meet fellow paddlers!
We will have brief presentation on Paddling Fun in NW Arkansas: what are the essentials, basic gear, locations, logistical considerations (shuttle), legal, etc.
See you there!

The menu is set. We will have a limited menu to choose from (~20 options), so there should be something for everybody. We'll even buy your non alcoholic drinks.
John Kennedy will be presenting Floating in Arkansas. He'll cover a lot of rivers and creeks in our backyard.
See you then,
kru

Worth every penny. DIY would be a PITA, IMO.

That was absolutely one of the best chapter meetings I've ever attended. The variety of people who attended from the very experienced paddlers to those curious to start paddling was very exciting. I bet there were 50 or more there.
Thank you Ryan and others for organizing and thank you Jon for such a great presentation on our local creeks and things to be aware of. I feel like many will continue to attend the meetings and will be on the look-out for outings and be available for our causes. Many expressed interest in the upcoming schools and several of the regulars were very helpful in providing information and eliciting interest.
