Hey, Mitch! I lost your phone number. Looks like Joe and I are going to be off tomorrow. Wanna run local or head somewhere else? We are up for a trip. I'll be ready to go as soon as my son gets on the bus at 7:30. Holler at me!

I was just kinda waitin' around to see what comes up! Also to hear back from Clay and Jamie what Bear Creek looked like today. I was thinkin' that or South Fourche or maybe the lower section of the Lil' Mo'. Seems like someone said the other day that 3.8 was a decent level for that lower section, but I have no experience with it so I'm not sure. Maybe even Middle Fork Illinois Bayou if it happened to keep on risin'. Who knows! I'm open to anything really.

I was still thinkin' of headin' to the Little Missouri from 84 down. Has anyone run it at these levels and know if it's worth it? nproctor is that too far for you coming from Ben Hur area? Anyone feel free to text me 501-772-6760. Christy I still have your number I'll get ahold of you after a bit.

Mitch,

I've run the Little Mo. from 84 downstream many times and think you should really enjoy it. The float is ten miles in length, so it would be good to actually get on the water by 10, or 11 at the latest. I haven't run it in the last couple of years but the Weyerhauser Rd.# 12,000 should still be open to access the take out. Please post a trip report if you go.

Best Regards
jim

In my last post, I meant to mention how many great rapids there are on this section of the Little Missouri. The put-in looks pretty pretty straight-forward but, in the first half of the section, down to Blocker Creek, there are some nice rapids and drops, with probably some good-sized standing waves. Below Blocker Creek are more good rapids with names like 'Rockslide', 'The Wall', 'Patio Rock', and of course, 'Meeks falls' :D

We are currently comparing So Fourche to Lil Mo. and trying to make a decision. Anyone want to weigh in?
