OT.. Cossatot River cabin

Post by hdh » Sun Jan 06, 2013 9:50 pm

Camping at the Cossatot River RV Park and Cabins
We took the opportunity bring in the new year to cabin camping at the Cossatot this year. We left Louisiana with no other agenda but to have a good time. We knew we wanted to camp but the frigid temperatures gave us no option but to find shelter with electricity. Emeri (8 yr) did extensive research on cabins in the Cossatot area and was sold on Lexie’s Lodge. When we arrived there on Saturday, December 29, 2012 we found the cabin was perfect. It was exactly as you find it in the pictures posted on the www. All we had to bring was some food and good time gear. The cabin is fully furnished and will comfortably sleep up to 8. The amenities exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfy and cozy. We spent lots of time inside when we were there since the lows were in the teens. But we did do a bit of outdoor entertaining around the fire pit for New Year’s Eve. Lexie’s Lodge provides the perfect setting for cabin camping with family and friends.

Hey Harlan,

Thanks for the review! Their website looks good, as do all of their offerings. We have a travel trailer so I was interested in the RV sites and services, looks good, we'll have to check the place out when we're over that way sight-seeing sometime. Thanks.

Best Regards
Jim

Yes like Jim stated, I would like to hear what the RV spots looked like. I have a trailer too and would love to spend a weekend there. I hope to be able to check it out soon!

Any leads on cabins that allow dogs over 15 pounds?

Thanks!
Paul
