The Little Missouri River gage height is on a trajectory that will put the level at 3.85 at noon Thursday, a prime level for novice paddlers with lots of small play spots and lots of challenging rock gardens to wiggle through. The forecast for the Little Mo area on Thursday is SUNNY, 50 DEGREES, AND A 9 MPH TAILWIND.
If I get some more paddlers to accompany me, I will be at the put-in at the Highway 84 bridge about four miles west of Langely at 10:00 a.m. Thursday. The trip length is about ten miles; I plan to stop frequently to stretch my legs and catch my breath as we work our way down this scenic Class II section of this clear running mountain river.
Post here or call my cell 501-681-2314 if you'd like to join in. I'll be leaving Little Rock from the K-Mart parking lot on Rodney Parham Road at 8:00 a.m. in order to reach the put-in at 10:00. We will unload and shuttle vehicles down to the take-out, making the actual launch time about 11:00 a.m. so bring your lunch. We should finish the trip by 5:00 p.m.
The trip is dependent on getting at least one other paddler to join me, and on the gage not falling out real fast. I will post gage and participant updates here.

I also would have loved to join you. I've been wanting to jump on the Lil' Mo' for a while now, but I have already had quite some time off from work. Hopefully next time it runs I'll be ready! Thanks for posting the trip.

Mike, I too would have gone with you had I not earlier agreed to do the Fourche. Next time for sure. As it was the Fourche gauge was working and the river was at 4.2 Feet. Billy Williams joined us as a guest star, and a good time was had by all. BOB
