Snowpocalypse 2012 video

Post by randominsects » Fri Dec 28, 2012 8:07 pm

Even though I had no power, no heat, no hot water and multiple cars were blocking the exit to my apartments I had to get my boat out on the 26th. Here is the link to the video...

It's kind of "dramatic" because I had a lot of time to edit it. If you just want the action shots goto 1:40, 2:10 and 3:00. The whole thing is under 4min.

Ha! That was excellent. How much faster was the sledding as you smushed down the snow more and more? It seemed to go a lot faster on the last couple of runs, and you seemed to hit the water a lot harder. I was hoping that somebody'd do that and post a video!

Yeah it was all powder so it was much faster after it was packed. You can't see it in the video but on the last slide I had a few people that were passing by push me. Before they did it they said "into the lake?"

Great video. I just have one contribution, though, it really could've used a ramp of some sort at the bottom of the hill.

Great video Zach! I dug the editing...very nice. The music was great too...I'm gonna download the last song..I really liked it.
I didn't get my boat out this year, but I got a few runs in with my old snowboard. Hardly compares to going out west..but beats nothing at all.
