Touring Boats

Have any of your guys ever thought about building your own Skin On Frame type touring boats??? I was recently introduced to SOF Kayaks myself and found this web site. (Kudzu Craft Kayaks)
I am starting my build this weekend!

I have a good friend and great paddling companion up here in Iowa (Jim Jorgenson of Independence, IA) who has built a few of these. (2 Greenland boats. two different sizes of Baidarka and at least one other.) If you'd like, send me your email address and I'll let him know that you'd like to share ideas.
