Dagger Reflection 15 solo

Hi,

I'm trying to help a friend get a good solo canoe for river camping and touring for rivers like the Buffalo. I know someone with a Reflection with wood gunnels for sale set up solo, and wonder how it would do. My solo downriver canoes are Wenonah Rendezvous and Argosy. The Reflection looks good, but I wonder if it might be too wide?

If anyone can comment, particularly as it compares to the Argosy, I'd really appreciate the feedback!

Thanks,
Heather

Heather, I just bought my 3rd Reflection 15.This most recent one is a Mad River made off of the old Dagger mold. These canoes have been my main non whitewater vehicle for more than 20 years, I use it not only for recreation but also canoe camping. I like the the boat because it's versatile, it has just enough rocker to be maneuverable yet its designed for efficient downriver paddling. I regularly paddle the South Fourche Lafave with it and will use it for 2 weeks of paddling in Florida in October. I can't make the comparison between the 2 boats but I sure like my Reflection. Hope this helps. BOB
