all are invited to jacksonville for homestead living history at the civil war battlefield on hwy 161 adjacent to bayou meto. 9 to 5, FREE!!
bring a boat and float the bayou assuming the rains will return.
event includes pig roast, dutch oven cook off, live music with 4 groups,featuring"lark in the morning", sack races, stilts, 3 legged races and old time base ball.
lots of active fun for kids of all ages.
historians from historic arkansas museum will appear in period dress.
