Making a day trip all day saturday- leave early (like 6AM-in-the-car-on-the-road early), back late. I've got a 4 runner that seats 5- anybody want to split gas?

If you are on the faceyspaces, there is already some carpool organizing for NWA:

I might be interested in grabbing a ride back on Saturday evening... need to look at the schedule. Any chance you are considering coming back first thing Sunday?
Thanks,
Paul

Paul,
I'm pretty dead set on heading back saturday night. River stops releasing at 5 (or so I hear), and I'm planning on staying for the raffle and splitting. You can decide what you want to do last minute too- I've got tons of room, so if someone else takes me up on my offer, its not like I'm gonna turn down the chance to split gas 3 ways.

Any chance of someone going down with rack space for a 17 foot canoe that could come up here to Rogers/Beaver Lake and load the boat and then bring it back if the potential buyer does not want it?
I can't paddle or load boats for a few more months due to the rotator cuff surgery on July 10th.
Thanks, Eric Esche

Eric, we'd be glad to take it! Give me a call and we'll work out the logistics.

Tom - Thanks for the kind offer, but the guy has now said not to bother, that he and his wife will come up if they are still interested in the canoe later this fall.
I will be thinking of y'all. Hope everyone has a good safe fun time, with great food, fellowship, and activities - everything that Rendevous is. Feeling sort of wimpish not going, but still in enough pain and doctor's restrictions to not want to go that far, and then feeling even more of a wimp, considering what David Reid must be going through with all his broken bones and surgeries. Already looking forward to seeing everyone's pictures to see what I missed.
