Remmel to Rockport float today

I think several of us may float 'Old Faithful' today, we'll probably be at the Ledge boatramp about 12:30 to consolidate and head up to the dam.

FYI from Entergy just now...

Due to Blakely Dam not able to generate, there will only be the minimum flow from Remmel Dam of approx. 200 cfs this weekend.

Thank you for the info. on the problems at the dam, I also got a phone message later in the day from some other kind person letting us know about the situation. I'm afraid it was all too late to head us off but I appreciate the thought&effort!!! We did float today with a pretty good sized party and I think had a pretty good time. Entergy had apparently released almost 3600cfs early this morning, then shut it off, I figured it was because of last nights rain, and they would get back on schedule. At any rate, we were able to take advantage of what water there was as it fell out, it sure helped getting down the first couple of miles that are very rocky when there is no water being released. Thanks again for trying to let us know!
