Eleven Point River near Ravenden Springs

Yesterday I checked out parts of Eleven Point River, from MO 142 access near Morgan Spring float camp, down to Dalton & Ravenden Springs. I didn't care for the float near Greer Crossing, but it looks much more appealing further south. Anybody have first hand knowledge about that part?
I have Tom Kennon's book & a couple others that I've read.
Thanks.

That river is around 5 hours away from us.We have floated the Greers to Riverton five times now. Some weekends ya might have a hard time finding some alone time. It has good fishing and neat things to see along the way. Not sure why ya didn't care for the trip. The lower has alot of slow sections. Its susposed to be better fishing and not so many things to see. Hope to do that part soon.

We camped at Circle B in Eminence, floated Jack's Fork, Current & Eleven Point. The section of Eleven Point we floated had few gravel bars or good places to stop. It had more mud & steep banks. I just didn't care for it.

Float camping is on the slim side. The caves are cool to crawl in and the the springs are neat to look at. It's amazing how much water is feeding the river from them. If you haven't seen the spring above Greers its worth the short hike in to it.
