This trip is a go! Going to be hot and steamy on Monday...perfect for that cooooool dam release water. The release is at 3pm. I'll plan to be at the take out about 2:15.

It was 107 in l.R. when we did it last July, so 95 will be nothing!

Mind if I meet up with you guys for Monday? I was able to find directions to the put-in, but not sure where the take out is. Any good reviews online for this section of the river so I can know what to expect?

(it's not really a low water bridge...we meet on the near side of the river closest to Murfreesboro, so assuming you are coming from Murfreesboro and you cross the bridge over the Lil Mo - you've gone to far. Look to pull off on the right before you cross the river)

Thanks guys, sounds fun! Found the take out on google maps thanks to yall's directions. Are they for sure doing the dam release on Monday? I hear they sometimes cancel that for 48 hours after it rains.

Let's meet at 12:30 at Home Depot (exit 118) off I-30 in Benton to consolidate cars and boats and carpool.

Those I believe are coming: Steve Gabbard, Steve Shepherd, Chris Martin, Karla, Doug, Mitch, Chicago Bob, Reese, Sky...but I suspect there are quite a few others.

We'll be at take out about 2:15 to drop some cars for the shuttle.

Gary is going too. We will take our truck and will meet at home depot

Please add three Signorellis and two Sig-guests to the list. We have a full car, so we will skip the Home Depot meetup and see you all at the put in.

As way of a brief introduction, our two friends have been paddling their sit-on-tops for a few months now. They've paddled Little Maumelle, Remmel-to-Rockport and various lakes. They do fine at the ledge. We've talked about eddying-out/in though they haven't had chances to practice it very much.

I may try to make this trip. If I'm able to go, I will see you guys at Home Depo in Benton. =)
