Flow at Rockport for the next 48 hours

Post by 737driver » Tue Aug 28, 2012 6:59 pm

Just got the Entergy email stating that in preparation for Isasc, they will be lowering Lake Hamilton 8" and Catherine 12" over the next 48 hours. It did not state the CFS, but did tell property owners to prepare for swift currents. So I'm guessing the flow will be sufficient for Rockport.

UPDATE!! I just got off the phone with the Entergy process superintendent Bobby Phar. He said that they released overnight last night and that was probably a bit early. Due to the slower movement of the storm, they are going to hold off for now but plan on releasing before the rain arrives. He said the Garland co and Hot Springs co is forecast to get 4-6" of rain over the next 72 hours and that they will probably start releasing again tonight and continue for the next several days.
