Wally and I had enough time to paddle up toward the dam yesterday, where some stone structures built by the AGFC to enhance the fishery have been constructed. I now think that dragging my boat upstream of these stone structures is mandatory when making a Little Mo excursion. Besides exposing a paddler a spine tingling volume level of the alert sirens, starting up there gives the feeling of being caught in a genuine FLASH FLOOD; there are some sharp eddies to catch, turns to navigate, and several small waves to play that will all be missed if you start at the grassy area at Riverside Access.

The bottom is slippery so use caution when dragging upstream.
