where are they or how dry it is in CO?
Every summer I look forward to seeing vehicles from Arkansas with kayaks traveling through Amarillo in route to Colorado..... but I have not seen one in the last month... a sign of how dry it is in CO.

Quite a few Arkie's were camped at Ruby Mountain this week.
I did Royal Gorge yesterday, Browns the day before that, and the Numbers the day before that. (Thanks to Dennis, Nick and Julie, Mike W and family, Michelle, Noel, Jordan, and all the others who let me join one or more of their floats!)
Yes, all were completely different experiences than prior trips in "normal" or "high water" years, but all were still fun and well worth doing. It also adds an entertainment factor watching the commercial rafts try to thread the needles between rocks; we had a much easier time in the yaks!

Trash: Get a little every time you go!

Cowp, you should come join the Team Stupid gang at Bailey Fest this year. We're hoping to have a bunch of Arkies to crash the Bailey party!

I go north , just past OKC through Woodward to Dodge City , then west to Pueblo . 11 hrs from Ft.Smith to Pueblo and always spend the night there . Not far the next morning to the Gorge or Buena Vista . I HATE the Amarillo drive . Came back that way once and I'll never do it again .

BHK OKie.. I understand... I HATE the I-40 drive also. From Ft Smith I always went up to Tulsa and various ways to Pueblo also.
Glad to hear Arkansasans are in CO. The AWA site says that the level is too low for Brown's Canyon. Good to know that site is not quite right.
