According the the Entergy site they are going to release from 12 to 3 on the 4th of July. That's this Wed. people. Hannah and I are planning on paddling Remmel to Rockport. Anyone else wanna meet at Rockport about 11:30 and shuttle up?

I'll be down there. What time are y'all starting? Because I can drive your truck back if you want. Because I doubt I will be interested in canoeing/kayaking that stretch. I may change my mind, if this heat keeps up though. I'll PM you my number and you can text me what time your thinking about launching.

Marlo and I plan to be there. I'm still sitting out at the Ledge, visiting, and taking pictures, and doing the shuttle duties

Doug, got your number plugged in; as soon as we finalize plans I'll give you a holler (can't text; it's a company supplied phone and only has voice). Right now we're looking to be at the takeout @ 11:30 or a little earlier and then run up to the dam.

Jim, be good to see you again; it's been awhile. Just Marlo coming or are Gary and Karla coming too?

Mike and i are going to put on river at 1 oclock so the water will have time to fill up the ledge!

I have yet to do this float and I live in Benton! How sad is that? Is this a do-able float if I am not a whitewater yakker? We have 10 ft boats and I don't want to tear them up.

You bet. I'd be there myself, but I'm at Table Rock for the week with the big stinky boat.

I guess with the water up, we should be able to make it over "the ledge" then? We may come out there!

Wife and I used to run the ledge in a 12 ft. SOT kayaks with no trouble. So come on down. Look for a dark green XTerra with orange and yellow boats on top, ACC front license plate and ACC & ACA stickers on back. We'll be at the Rockport parking lot around 11:15 to 11:30ish to set up shuttle.

Chris, time may be a factor for you but mike wanted me to mention why we are putting in at 1 oclock.
i understand some of our friends put in around noon last week and when they got to ledge...not enough water...just a big drop off.
i went at 1 a few weeks ago and it was perfect.

Meeting at 11:30, consolidating boats, then shuttle up and get ready equals about a 1:00 put on for me. I can't seem to do anything fast anymore and Hannah has never been known for being speedy at anything. Hope to see you and Mike there.
