We are planning to bring about 25 children from church to the spring during the last week of july. these are 6th, 7th and 8th graders. we want to tent camp and do a one day paddle. where would be the easiset place to camp and where would you go for shuttle.
thank you, wally

Riverside good place to camp. But forwarning if you go on Saturday to lower section with Saddlers it will be very busy and lots of stuff the kids may not need to see regards to some very bad language, nudity, lot of drunks and more of a chance to get ran over by all them on the river. Friday or Sunday would be best. Riverside does rentals and shuttle. The Rec school camps at Riverside each year. Also Riverside is nicer and usually don't allow lot of stuff to go on. Spring River Oaks also has camping and that is usually where the take out is. Also there are good chances esp. at Saddlers Falls where the kids may end up flipping over. Make sure they wear PFD's.
