On behalf of the Arkansas Canoe Club, I'd like to congratulate our newest additions to the ACC's ACA instructor cadre.
Kurt Otto
Chris Martin
Jonathon Kennedy
Lorraine McPhee
All four of these folks earned the "Level 4 Whitewater Kayak Instructor" certification from the American Canoe Association (ACA). This was a long and challenging process across a month, requiring a lot of study time, as well as in this case travel to Alabama for the exams!
Well done!
Tom

Congratulations to all!
I really like it when I see folks sharing our sport with others, and this indicates you clearly plan on doing some of that.

Super!! Congratulations to Tom and the four new "Level 4" instructors.
Kurt was a safety boat/assistant the first time I was a student at Whitewater School and he taught me a LOT, and it was obvious he liked seeing paddlers learn!! All four will be great, and Tom is always awesome.

Congratulations to all involved, and especially to my next door neighbor Chris
Martin, a really good guy and with just the best demeanor for a paddling instructor.
Best Regards

What a great class--Tom and Gordon ensured we got a lot of perspective and had us thinking about students and paddling in lots of different ways. They are awesome and it's no surprise that Tom passed the Instructor Trainer certification.
Congratulations TOM!!! And thank you again for your time, your knowledge and your patience.
The ACC is a great organization and I am honored to be a part of it.
