If you ask me, or many other paddlers, what they enjoy about float trips, chief among the answers would be the shear beauty of place, and prospects for good fellowship  I hope this may be a good start on the answer you seek.

Best Regards

Wife and I along with the Youth Minister took a group of our youth to Buffalo Point for 3 days back during Spring Break. Paddled Sat., Hiked Sun. and toured Blanchard Springs Caverns on Mon. Had lessons mornings and evenings. Clif & Co. paddled with us on Sat. and met at Blanchard on Mon. Kids had a great time. Couple of the kids said it was the best Church trip they had ever been on.

Course a large part of that my have been the wife's cooking.

My brother leads a youth group in Texas. I've helped him out with one or two and had an absolute blast. We've been bouncing around ideas for another, but it's tough because he's so far from float-campable (think I just made up a word) water. What did you have in mind zactly? I'd be glad to help any way I can.
You come too.

The river is my church, it ministers to me every single time we encounter each other... which has not been often enough as of late!
