I have no connection to this boat and have not seen it, but several folks have asked me to let them know when I see boats in this price range. Repairs are not completed, but that would allow one to have some "Sweat Equity" and customize it the way they want.

Wood has just been redone, but needs staining and treatment with tung oil, skid plates, seat webbing, grab loops, painters, tiedowns/lashdowns. Add that up and you might be better off getting a brand new 16' TwoBrothersCanoe Arkota, but some of that customization would have to be done on a new boat as well.

For those who do not know where Hogeye is, it is west of West Fork. I had to look it up, and I had been there before.

I'm not in the market for this canoe as I got a new never been on the water 12 year old 16' green royalex Explorer with vinyl gunnels last month for $400 off of craigslist in Iowa (just finished modifying it) and I am in the process of restoring and modifying another Explorer in a rare eggplant colored royalex.
