The Narrows Dam releases this week consist of two generators rather than the usual three. This provides the best water level for play.

The flow starts at 3:00 p.m. I'd like to leave Little Rock around noon which would put me at the take-out about 2:15 p.m. That will leave a little time for paddling around at the put-in and looking at the fish before the flow starts. The take-out is located on West 13th Street (also known as Muddy Fork Road) in Murfreesboro. The Narrows Dam impounds Lake Greeson. The put-in is about five miles north of Murfreesboro on Highway 19 at a Corps of Engineers recreation area called Riverside; don't get that confused with the AGFC access called River Ridge, keep going about another mile and a half. If I can't get at least one other paddler to show up and provide the other half of a shuttle, the trip won't take place. Let me know if you are interested.

This week won't work for me due to work commitments, but once they announce next week's releases, I will try to rally a group for Friday May 25th if they are generating. Our offices will be closing early for Memorial Day...
