Has anyone seen or heard any feedback on this C1 kit?

I've been thinking irrational thoughts about converting my 4Fun but definitely don't want to remove the welded-in seat track. I want to be able to un-ruin the boat once this crazy whim passes.
Thanks!

It's designed 4 2010 and newer Jackson boats not sure if it can be used in older gen boats

My buddy Matt Fritz just installed one in a Rock Star. He loves it. He had to mod it just slightly because it apparently is designed for the new rail, not the old pipe. But he made it work just fine. Because that's what C1ers do- 'saw to suit and file to fit'.

Cool! Thanks for all the tips. My boat is actually a 2010 4Fun "Classic" which has the new plastic rail. It looks like the thing will drop right in.
Okay, here's the next question: What length paddle do I need? (I'm 5'7")
Thanks again!

What length paddle do you normally use? I'm 5'11" and often go with a 56 or 57" paddle. I'm pretty comfortable getting my T-grip hand way up there, and I don't usually have a crazy-high saddle. That's all open-boating though.
When I have been in a C1, I used my standard 56" paddle, and it might have been a hair long, especially if I had been in a playboat.
At 5'7" I would consider starting with a 54" paddle, but I would be hesitant to go down from there. Are you going to bring it to a pool session this summer? I have been hoping to check it out in person. Where is this person with the rockstar?!?

Thanks Shep! I looked around in Pack Rat today but didn't buy. They had a straight-bladed wooden paddle with a fiberglassed blade that I really liked. I also picked up a foam-core carbon paddle but felt a great wrongness shivering through my limbs. It's hard to explain.
It'll take me a few weeks to get all this together but I'll definitely bring it to boatball or a roll session or two this summer so you can check it out, and give me a lesson!
Cheers!

Can't go wrong with a Werner Bandit! The yellow-blade version is significantly cheaper than the carbon blade. Mine is a 56", and you are welcome to play around with it to see how it feels.
