More horse adventures @ B-Paddling Richland

Post by canoe » Sat Apr 28, 2012 8:36 pm

So last weekend was dedicated to patching fence, and repairing horse damage, as well as mowing. Last evening, Joe Branch took a trailer load of firewood to the cabin(Thanks Joe!!!), and reported that the horses were back. Pam and I went up this a.m., and sure enough, there they were. We lured them back to their home with some sweet feed(now stored in a trashcan by the dogpen), and spent the rest of the day patching another section of fence. If they get back in, John says we can shoot them. Don't think we will get that drastic, but it sure is aggravating. Anyone with a good recipe for horse meat?

Don't shoot them!

Somewhere, there is a 9 to 14 year old girl who is just dying to own her own horse. I say, figure out where she lives, and we'll all wear black ski masks and drop them off at her house.

Thats a more reasoned response, but getting those suckers into a trailer would be difficult, they are wild.
