Shoulder/upper body conditioning?

Post by Jim E » Fri Apr 20, 2012 9:00 am

Can anyone point me to or recommend some shoulder/upper body excercises aimed towards the paddler that can be found on the net? Already doing some weight lifting, figure might as well focus it a bit towards conditioning for paddling.

Thanks

Thanks Roger!!
That's more of what I was looking for!

I had googled weight lifting kayaking before and just mainly got stuff aimed towards rowing.

Nice! Need to try some of these and remember to not do a high brace that involves my arm going behind my head...kept me upright but my shoulder still hurts after about 4 weeks since that trip to Richland...
