I was wanting to know if anyone has ever done this section. From google earth is looks like it is about 28 miles. I'm just wanting to know if it would be floatable when the lee creek gauge reads at about 3.5 ft or so.
I am planing on doing this in a 16ft sea kayak, so 28 miles in 1 day shouldn't be a problem, as long as there are not big rapids like on the hwy 220 to ACC takeout section.
Just trying to get a little information....any insight would be appreciated!

Some years ago, we looked for a place to put in lower down past Natural Dam. We looked for a long time but never found a good place until we ran into a local farmer that was glad to let us put in on his land, very nice guy.
I don't remember the level, but it was a good fishing level for us in the canoes. We went all the way to Short, Oklahoma and took out at that bridge. Not any big rapids to worry about. It was a very long day, but good fishing and a nice float.
If you decide to take on that long of a section, be sure to pack a flash light and over night gear just in case. A friend of mine has some land right on the creek that is about 5-6 miles upstream of the Short Bridge. He won't mind if you camp there and I'll let him know if you are thinking about doing that. PM me and I'll send you the location and what to look for when approaching his place. Pretty much most of the other land on both sides of the creek is private land.
Please post a trip report afterwards...
