Got the bigger one 246C. Cheapest one I could find was on ebay, $544.00.
I cant wait to get it in, they have good reviews on amazon. I hope it meets my expectations. I plan on ordering a stove jack to install in one of the walls. Jack will be for a wood stove on cold weather adventures.

For your purpose I think it will do well. Especially since you will be using a wood stove.

I like camping on gravel bars and I use a cot. Consequently, I prefer a floorless tent. I have several tents and for gravel bar camping my tent of choice is my Paha Que 10x10 screenroom/tent. It is floorless. It weighs less than 25lbs. It sets up and takes down quickly. Wall height is 6 feet.

Is that what you are going to take on the Yampa in June?

Would it work on the Yampa? I am willing if it would not be a problem. I could certainly show everyone how to camp in comfort ;)

I like the new tent! We have put it up about 6 times now and had it camping twice. I put the stove jack in it a couple weeks ago. I had to hand sew it, looks really good! We used the stove jack for an exhaust vent for hot air outlet from a portable a/c unit while camping. Soon discovered that the tent is air tight!!! It started sucking the walls in! So we had to leave a window cracked for air to come in. Still cooled the tent down very good in the scorching heat we had last week! It does not leak water even with the rain fly off. First thing i did was set it up and gave it a soaking with the water hose. Canvass has to to be wet and dried on the initial set up something to do with the shrinking when it gets wet first time. It never leaked a single drop of water! The floor in it is very thick. The windows are huge. It is fairly easy to put up about 15 mins with 2 people. I can put it up by myself in about 20 mins. I cant wait to take it on a Buffalo River gravel bar!!!!! Have pictures will post when I get a chance! :canoe:
