bayou meto cleared

two of us took the hobie sit on top with bow saw and lopers. cleared several small blockages. cut and trimmed branches at big tree to clear opening under it. water dropped several feet since last float so we could spend the day waist deep to drag brush and logs to the bank. still opportunities for chain saws and litter pick up. water adequate for canoes and kayaks, but marginal in spots for power boats. found the garden hook i lost last time. great day to be on and in the water.
