Two new creeks near the Little Missouri are probably running; Hot Springs Creek is running according to the gage and may get more rain today. Anybody ready for some small creek paddling? Few pools, mostly steering and surfing is what is to be expected. Post or call me 224 1868 in Little Rock.

The trip is on. Meeting at K-Mart on Rodney Parham about 11:30. We will be stopping at Arkadelphia at the Hwy. 8 exit at the quick stop adjacent to McDonalds about 12:30. Then will head to Kirby and on to New Hope. Will look for paddlers at the four way stop in Kirby and at the quick stop in New Hope. Join in the fun. My cell 501 68one 23one4

Believe it or not, we paddled in the sunshine Wednesday and caught BLUE CREEK in the Lake Greeson Wildlife Management Area for a claimed first descent. The water was good and the action on this 78 feet per mile creek had only a few brief pools. Thank goodness for those since I needed a place to rest several times! No swims. I will be working on a video; full location details will be published shortly.
