Trail ride, short notice!

Post by rbbruce » Sun Feb 19, 2012 7:56 am

Ride today, 12:00. Start at hwy 215 North of Dave's place. Forrest service rd. west side, down devil's canyon to mill creek. 5 creek crossings later and a BIG climb out, back on 215. Cross the hwy, dive down forrest service rd. cross fern gulley and come out at rock climbing spot. Loop around and come down wilson lane, by Ron's and Grant's place. All you creek hounds should enjoy the views, but plan on multiple climbs. (BIG EFFORT)

Darn I missed that one. If anyone got it on their Gps I would love to see the track.

Hate to have missed that ride! Prophet and I were hiking the OHT in the Hurricane Creek wilderness.

Had a climb of our own and a couple of creek crossings. Will have to go back and do it again cause we totally missed the Natural Bridge.

Tim's guide book has it nailed when it says that the intersections are hard to note when hiking East to West!

When we figured out we had missed the bridge we weren't about to backtrack and go see it. Will take a few days to recover from this adventure!

RB, keep us posted on how the ride went and when you hit it again!

Slow to respond, licking my wounds. That ride was a handfull, only did the mill creek side. Big and beautiful sums it up!
