WTB - Aire Super Puma

Post by Pete Alexander » Tue Feb 07, 2012 7:31 pm

Looking for a good family raft that I can load the family up in so that they can watch their poor Dad sweat as he paddles down the river. Please call 501-554-2145 if you have a lead.

A Super Puma is a good choice (I own one:)... but finding one used may be a problem... I saw an add on a new company the other day selling off 2011 models pretty darned cheap. Then, I saw one of the rafts up on the Piney several weeks ago... however, I failed to notice the name of the new manufacturer. The raft appeared to be a little lighter in quality than many, but for the price, it seemed very reasonable!! You might do a little searching on line & figure out what& where...or I may remember it!!

Crane, you might be thinking of RM (Rocky Mountain) rafts. They've been getting really good buzz. I need a standard floor for what I do, but their price points are mighty tempting. Pete, Crane's right. Finding a used Puma will be tougher than snipe hunting, but regularly check the gear swaps on Mountainbuzz and NRS, and of course good old CL. Concentrate on the western states.
You come too.
