Go-pro editing problems

Post by gannon311 » Sat Jan 28, 2012 8:14 pm

Ok I know sow of u smartys can help me out! I'm trying to edit with premiere elements 10. When I'm trying to cut my clips up they are glitchy. This pro vents me from cutting in and out at the right place. The cam is neat but I have had nothing but trouble trying to make anything else but raw footage. Any suggestion on this??

Not necessarily an answer to your issue, but I have found it is really, really helpful to convert the video before editing. the GoPro saves in a format called H.264, which is great for streaming over the internet, but poor for editing. If you can convert to a format like ProRes 422, your editing will go much faster, and might fix this issue. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ProRes_422" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hope this helps,
