What do you use to clean your boat? Ive heard some people talk about 303 but I need to clean it before I use that I assume? Also do you use dishwasher soap and a sponge? Just curious what people are actually using?
Thanks!

My first choice is to rinse vigorously multiple times by running a creek with high water quality such as Richland. (Repeat as often as necessary.)
If you can't wait for the next rain event, I'd go with mild soap and water.
303 is a great product - I use it frequently on dry suit seals. It is also good for boats, but be advised:
1) Your sprayskirt will be more likely to "blow off" - that 303 is slick stuff. You may not want to put it on the cockpit rim.
2) Back deck will be slick for awhile - I've actually see people have their hands slip off as they try to get into or out of the boat.
These are not "show stoppers" for a 303 treatment, just things to be aware of. I rarely if ever treat my boat - I think the plastic has a very good life span without treatment.

I store my boats inside, so I just go with soap and water. The only time my boats get enough sun to consider 303 would be long road trips. I probably still wouldn't bother though. lol

I don't clean mine. I like to watch it muddy up the clear water when I visit Arkansas.
