I have recently purchased Omniwool:
Hiking sox / and ankle sox
Base layer
Beanie

This stuff is WARM! the base layer is 20%wool and 80%polypro outer 100% polyester inner. I wore it under jeans and a nice jacket. I filmed 2.5hrs of time-lapse footage in the Netherlands this past weekend. Basically standing still for 15min at a time in the wind. I was toasty. Even under ventilated running shoes my feet stayed warm and dry. the wicking action on everything is amazing. and the wool keeps the smell of 4 days worth of walking around the city to an amazing minimum. The cap is the best i've ever owned.

If you like to stay warm, dry and free of BO. I recommend this stuff BIG TIME!!

I dunno if the care instructions mentioned it or not, but if the OmniWool stuff is treated for antimicrobial properties like a lot of tech gear is now, dryer sheets and fabric softener are a big no-no... My high cla$$ Marmot base layers are still warm, but not nearly as resistant to hiking, uh.... "scents" as they used to be.

Check yer tags, bro.

I dont think they're treated.. Wool has some anti-smell properties naturally. Not as good as the treated stuff.

Thanks for the heads up!
