Some are talking about it...

Probably gonna happen, this is your 48 hour warning. ;)

Meet at Hwy 65 bridge, Cadron Creek (aka, North Fork Cadron Creek)

REVISED: Forecast is now 100% chance the trip is gonna happen; Several have requested a slightly later launch. Weather Service says it will be very cold tonight, but warming rapidly as morning progresses, so I bow to peer pressure - Try to be under the bridge at 10 AM!

Where are you putting in? Pinnacle Springs or Lizs' place?

Karla,
I believe Cowper set that early time so those who want to go watch Brandy and Michelle at the Roller Derby bout would have enough time to do so.

Maggie & Karla - spoke with Cowper last night and he said we could meet around 9am. That should give us enough time.

Enough time to get off the creek before sunset, and make it to rollerball on time. "Take off before sunset" and "on time to anything" are both very challenging goals for me.

There is a ? % chance that I will join in on this floatilla. I've never paddled Cadron except for where Cove Creek confluences it near Mallet Town.

Looks like conditions will be great on Saturday but i cannot join. This is basketball season and I will be spending the day watching the kids play hoops.

Have a good one, and if there are any mishaps this weekend (such as a broken nose), you won't be able to blame it on my bad Karma.

John, you haven't seen me lately. I have changed. Yep, nose still there. Hey do we have a nose smiley? Still trying to decide, go paddle :kayak: or not to paddle (stay in bed & sleep in?") If I didn't have a drysuit, there would be no deciding.

Karla & Cowper - we could probably meet 10ish and try to put in at 11ish and with a fairly steady pace, be off the river around 4ish. This would give me time to get back home and change and grab a quick bit. Karla, we are all going to the roller derby bout at Skateworld in Little Rock to support two fellow paddlers that are bouting against each other at 7pm (Brandy Ballard & Michelle Ashford) The cost is $10 and it starts at 7pm and portions of proceeds go to charity so come out for the entertainment. And Cowper if we stop for a bite to eat, it would have to be somewhere quick.

Everybody stay tuned for possible time shift. I would say the trip is now 100% on; exact put-in is still being worked out but will be somewhere upstream of Hwy 65. Time is still under negotiation with considerable pressure to meet a little bit later.

UPDATED: OKAY OKAY OKAY! 10 AM meeting time.
