Another Cadron trip Sat Dec. 31 at 10

Not to compete with Renee's 11:30 trip, but the Cranes, Mike and I are meeting under the bridge at 10 a.m. New Year's Eve. We're putting in at my property. So is Renee, so we're both still doing 8 miles. Early birds can join us.

I can't go downriver with either crew due to pager duty, but since it is only 13 miles from home I may try to talk DeBo into helping me build up some good river karma by coming up, saying "hi" to both crews that are going, and maybe driving a couple of shuttles.
Pick up a couple of pieces of trash for me and DeBo as you go downriver! I think we're going to consider the river above the 65 bridge to be part of the Central Chapter's scope for the "road side litter" program. I've brought out several bigger items a kayak couldn't handle over the last few weeks, but there are still plenty of opportunities left!

Dude, you (and Debo) have picked up so much trash along the highway, Pinnacle Springs bridge AND off the river that I believe your river karma balance is already over flowing!
Alas, now that I have TWO hobbies that I love (paddling and now backpacking), I think I'm giving the nod to backpacking this weekend, but I'll certainly miss paddling with so many friends this weekend.

Thanks Liz for a great time! It was nice to see everybody and nice to meet new friends. Thanks for the shuttle too.

Very nice bright sunny and warm day to be on the river with great company. Uneventful day. Glad to get back on the horse after my mishap almost 2 weeks ago.
