Cadron creek access between 65 and 124

Post by randominsects » Wed Dec 07, 2011 2:05 pm

Is there anywhere to put in on cadron creek upstream of 65? If I go all the way up to 124 is there anywhere to leave a vehicle? I'm thinking about going out tomorrow.

There is some parking space at the 124 bridge but I think I would park up where the vehicle is visible to they highway traffic. Not a lot of houses around there down in the little valley where the creek runs.

That's a long haul from 124 to 65. Tried doing it once, got a late start, dark caught up with us, and we ended up taking out at CCO location when it belonged to Howard Elliot, hitched a ride down to the shuttle vehicle at 65. Make sure to allot plenty of time with an early start.

That sounds like a ''Radar'' trip Roger.Howard Elliot shuttled us once on that section and we forgot to get our paddles out of the car before he drove off.Luckily,we found some pieces of 1x8 boards and paddled with the boards. It sure would have been a long day with just a stick. It also happened to be on Thanksgiving Day and we had our turkey sandwiches.2

Ronnie, no Radar involved on this one. Was taking a novice down and things went south when he showed up late. Didn't think that he would swim as much as he did!
