Piney or Cadron Friday 11/25

The Cranes, Mike and I are looking to do the Piney tomorrow if it doesn't drop too low. We'll be checking the gauge at 7:30 a.m. and posting at that time.

If we do the Piney, we'll meet at Moore's at 9:30. Anyone is welcome to join us, but we are full for the shuttle, so plan to have someone to shuttle with or pay the $50 shuttle to the Moores.

If the Piney is too low, we'll paddle the Cadron, putting in at our property for the 8-mile run. Will meet under the Hwy 65 bridge at 10 a.m. to set shuttle.

I will check at 7:30 am. What time will ya'll leave Little Rock? I would like to meet ya'll there and follow ya'll. Where and what time will we meet if going to Piney? I have posted to see who in Little Rock might ride with me to share the cost. I live in Benton but would come through Little rock, Conway area.

I plan to be at the Shackleford/I630 commuter lot by 7:30 AM. Anyone interested in meeting there could consolidate rides and boats and check where we are going at that time and head that way to Piney if going there, if not just take our time getting to the putin at Cadron, maybe stop for breakfast, etc. If heading to Piney, will grab quick breakfast at McDonalds or somewhere to eat on the way

If we end up doing the Piney, Jason and I will meet you at the commuter lot. Not sure that we will though if it's the Cadron since we don't need to leave so early. I will call you though since I have your number now.

Our optimism about the Piney didn't pay off. Too low for the rafter in the group!

So it's the Cadron. A higher level than last week. Meet under the bridge at 10!

Another nice day and workout on the water with 11 boats and 1 raft. Afterwards, Joe's Pizza watching a great
football game.

Great day, really fun rapids at 4.17 feet. Nice meeting Gary Low for first time and paddling with him. Also, others I met today and enjoyed paddling with everyone. Hope we have some other good levels again soon.
Have pics of the tree that was down near the take out. Daddy's knee was a little tricky with more downed trees and limbs.

Wanted to let everyone know that I had a great day on the Cadron today. The water was at a perfect level. Thanks Liz for letting us put-in at your families place. The downed trees made it pretty interesting, but still navigable for the kayaks and even our one raft.
