Jan,
This Summer I have paddled the Remmel to Rockport section three times at low flow (200 cfs). It's certainly doable, and should be much more pleasant on Sunday than paddling it earlier at temps in the 90s
There are many boulders to paddle around but the shallow-clear water should offer much in the way of fish viewing. In addition, on the last two trips we've made here lately, we've seen a mature bald eagle twice in the first mile or so of the trip.
You should be able to navigate all the shallow riffles along the way however there are two major formations, sort of like the ledge, in that they stretch across the width of the river in a similar way. These two can be paddled through if you pick just the right slot.
When you get to 'The Ledge' at the end of the trip, we have been able to ooch-down the rocks out near the center of the river but it ain't pretty... You can also line your boats over. Good luck and have a nice day!
Best Regards
Jim
