Wheeling Woman Dies On Gauley River Rafting Trip, Name Released
Reported by: Associated Press
Web Producer: Bethany Simmons

Reported: Sep. 27, 2011 8:08 AM EDT
Glen Jean , West Virginia
We now know that a Wheeling, West Virginia woman died on a rafting trip along the Gauley River earlier this week.
40-year-old Tammy Paczewski and 5 others were swept out of a commercially operated raft Monday morning near the Pillow Rock Rapid.
That's just a few miles below the Summersville dam.
The other rafters made it to safety, but Paczewski floated about 70 yards downstream and became pinned underwater by a rock.
