Pinnacle Springs

Hi All!! My cousin and I are thinking of floating the Cadron around Pinnacle Springs. We are both from Greenbrier and never knew the interesting history around there. Any advice?

The Pinnacle Springs history is really fascinating. The one who knew the most about it unfortunately is no longer a member of the ACC. I use to spend a lot of time on the Cadron but I have not been there in a few years. There is still some evidence left of the Pinnacle Springs community if you know where to look. Mostly upstream of the 310 bridge.
The section of the Cadron from 11 mile island to the Hwy 65 bridge has one interesting feature after another. One of the reasons I stopped going there is that some of the ACC members created kayaking play spots that became canoeing obstacles so I moved to the Buffalo where dams are not allowed.
