OT: Janet Napolitano Protest Monday, State House Convention
Posted: Thu Aug 18, 2011 7:37 pm
This meetup is to protest the Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano who continues to allow invasive security measures and wants more "protection" for the American people all in sake of "Homeland Security"! Bring your guy fawkes masks, signs, gas masks, and more people. This is a stand in to show Janet Napolitano and her minions that the American people and people in Arkansas do not support gun control, naked body scanners, sexual molestation of travelers and our children, or illegal immigration.
Big Sis promotes terrorism:
Janet Napolitano stated in an interview with CNN's Candy Crowley that, "the system worked" with regard to an attempted terrorist attack on Northwest Airlines Flight 253 approaching Detroit, Michigan on Christmas Day 2009. She later went on NBC's Today Show with host Matt Lauer and admitted that the security system had indeed failed.
She promotes gun control, illegal immigration, the economic downfall, and right-wing extremism:
Napolitano also released a report entitled "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment," in April 2009. The report suggested several factors, including the election of the first black or mixed race President in the person of Barack Obama, perceived future gun control measures, illegal immigration, the economic downturn beginning in 2008, the abortion controversy, and disgruntled military veterans' possible vulnerability to recruitment efforts by extremist groups as potential risk factors regarding right-wing extremism recruitment. The document "encourages law enforcement officers throughout the nation to target and report citizens to federal officials as suspicious right-wing extremists and potential terrorists because of their political beliefs.
She promotes TSA's invasive pat down procedure and naked body scanners:
In a YouTube video that went viral, a female Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent was shown patting down a 6-year-old Utah girl as she and her family attempted to pass through airport security. Parts of the pat down, in another setting, clearly constituted the kind of inappropriate touching that, if done by anyone else, would have resulted in charges of child abuse and sexual assault.
Homeland Security Administration Secretary Janet Napolitano, under whom the TSA falls, dared to defend the indefensible. In an interview about the incident with MSNBC, she said that that it’s okay to inappropriately touch 6-year-old kids because, you know, terrorists could use the children of typical American families to smuggle bombs aboard airliners. Napolitano says the TSA is working to develop a “risk-based system” of screening passengers. The “risk-based system” still includes the invasive pat down procedure of adults and children, but also includes "naked body scanners". Then given the agency’s poor standard of background checks for its own employees, TSA has been known to hire pedophiles, which are allowed to openly grope children’s genitals in airports across the country.
The so-called “pat-downs,” which in reality fall not far short of sexual molestation, have nothing to do with security. They are about ritualizing the process of making Americans submit to complete degradation at the hands of authority figures, no matter what level of humiliation that process encompasses. If you allow the government to get away with groping your children’s genitals there’s no limit to the abuse they will subsequently engage in.
The fact that the TSA and Homeland Security has been forced to respond to the national outrage over groping and naked body scanners is a major victory, but we cannot rest until the groping, not just of children but all passengers, is ended and the cancer-causing body scanners are removed for good.
No terror threat, be it genuine or contrived, can justify the federal government treating American citizens with less respect than farmyard animals, and since TSA workers openly admit that the sexual molestation of travelers is about forcing them to use the scanner and has nothing to do with security, this underscores the fact that the groping procedure and the scanner are both tools of oppression that have no place in a free society.
This meetup is to protest the Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano who continues to allow this happen and actually wants more "protection" for the American people! Again, bring your guy fawkes masks, signs, gas masks, and more people. (This event does not in any way support or promote terrorism or acts of violence upon anyone.) (copied and pasted from facebook)
