Anyone up for floating Spring River on Wednesday (or possibly Tuesday)? I wanted to float last week but the heat stopped me.

I'm giving it another try.
C'mon, you know it's nice, cold water!

I didn't think that was the reason most people paddle out there.
If I could get away from my day to day responsibilities, I'd join you. Looks like the only time I'll get out there will be a sunday, but I may be on call during nights and weekends for the foresee-able future.
Oh well, at least I'm not missing prime rainy season floats right now.

I try to avoid the party crowd by going during the week. Not so many drunks/metal boats/rafts to dodge.

I go to Spring River when there's nothing else handy. Much rather do the Buffalo down to Rush. Or Jack's Fork at Eminence.
Sorry ya gotta work.

Well, Jan, you know the universal idiom... Life sucks, then you work at (insert workplace), then it sucks even more, then you die.
At least I have a job that gets me by, even if it doesn't afford me much play time. Here's to seeing you out there some other time.

I am staying at Riverside Resort Tuesday night. If anyone wants to float with us Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning, give a shout. I'm heading up about daylight tomorrow morning, rain or shine.
Yes, I'm this desperate to float!
