Jeremy and I talked it over the other day, and we had an Idea...

We all have Great paddling Stories and Rendezvous is a great place to
share them. And this year, during the open mic part part of saturday,
or when ever the open mic is going to be, between some of the songs, I
invite anyone who would like to share their stories with the crowd.

There is a little insentive as well... The best story told will win a
price... A very nice custom made prize!

I will hit hard on what it will be,
It will be made by this guy http://dri-kiwoodworking.com/
and It will be custom painted for this event!

Rules for the stories (because there is always rules)
The Stories have to be told in PG... Because we have young ones running around
The Stories have to be paddling related
And best part... The audience is going to be voting!

So please bring your self, a chair, some good stories and maybe you
will go home with something you could hang on the wall or use in the
water or do both!

Can we enter someone else on our behalf? If so, you all might as well stop before you try- I pick Harlan.

Better Out Line of rules

- Must be PG rated
- Has to be Paddling related
- Must be a true story (of sorts)
- Should be Your story
- To win the Prize, you must tell the story as well :roll:

Remeber, this is voted on by the audiance! So the more entertaining, the better off you will be!

BIG Thanks to Brian and Carrie for this idea and for securing the prize....I've seen the paddles and they are SWEET!!!!

This paddle will find a new home at Cindy and I's crib! Thanks Brian for organizing the story telling event! I think I won based on volume and not on content
