 Ok ya'll,,,the Ramp of Death will be making a showing at Surf-N-Turf this year for the first time in 2 or 3 years! A small group of boaters have donated their time, tools, and a substantial amount of money to get it back on the road. It needed 4 new tires, bleached and power washed, new steps, and new lattice work.
For those who are unfamiliar with the Ramp of Death, it is a kayak ramp. It was paid for by RED BULL. Heath Day designed and built the beast. It is alot of fun, but potentially hazardous none-the-less... waivers are provided and are to be signed by anyone who chooses to ramp. Though paid for by RED BULL, they assume no ownership and no liabilty. (as a matter of fact, once they saw it, they didn't even want to be associated with it at all!

...but we like to spread the word, for this is how RED BULL chooses to advertise, by helping men and women who enjoy extreme sports.)
Donations to the Ramp of Death Foundation

by those who are enjoying it will be GREATLY appreciated! A BIG truck is needed to pull the thing and we all know how expensive diesel and tires are these days...so if everyone pitches in, the Ramp of Death can be enjoyed at more events in the future!
Thanks so much! and SYOTR!
